MELBOURNE ROADTRIP PART 1

So i have a whole roadtrip worth of photo's here from when i went to Melbourne with my pal Maddi, we dont talk much anymore. I wasn't ment to put them up but you only live once so if your reading this im not sorry its an event that occured in your life, embrace it! Anyway to the good stuff. We left Newcastle at like 9 oclock one morning and bomber a roadtrip all the way to Wagga! it was so insane, ive never been that far south in my life. We stopped at Maddi's parents house which was pretty cool, right on the lake. The mornings were freezing as, and the house was getting re-carpeted so everything was in boxes! Most awkward time in that house, i actually dont think i have been in a more awkward situation, oh well we all got along well and played scrabble drank tea, ate chocolates etc. Stayed there for two nights and met Viv, she was a rad chick, super cool. Anyway we bombed it to melbourne the next day and arrive at like 7.30 after stressing out something chronic in Melbournes crazy traffic. We got to the backpackers after a massive trek and met up with some of my good friends Jan and Dan, (my melbourne buddies from schoolies) unfortunately i didnt get any photo's. We got drunk cruised the city, i think i was a little excessive and almost got annihilated by some Kiwi tourist haha, ahhh well. Next day we cruised the city, got some snaps and decided im moving to that place when im older. Melbourne has the babes, the food and the vibe. such a cool cool place. Bar Beach Tuesday 13th!

So after a free Block feed Doug, Samuel and myself bailed to the bowl to meet up with Hugh, Cam, Natty and the other dudes for a shred and a good time. Shortly after we got there cam bailed, so he missed out on some snaps but Sam managed to get a couple of cool ones which i played around with in black and white. Hughie also got some crazy grinds in the deep, doug carved over the sticker twice, second time he unfortunately busted himself. Got a sneaky K grind on the box and a small front five in the shallow but the highlight of the night..... bummed i didnt get any photo's but three of the ugliest looking 30 year olds you have ever seen rocked up to the park, two with longboards one with a bike. They started that talk about how they hit 100km down the bar beach hill. Bullshit dawgssss. Anyway after being talked into it they bailed from the park to the top of a hill and some of the boys went up to watch. On the way the longboarders asked for a lift and tried to skitch to the pinacle of the hill. Whilst skitching the guy on the roadside was loosing balance and hit one of those reflectors and got WRECKED! Busted his helmet in half, i rekon if he wasnt wearing one he could have some gnarly skull damage. Come down and blames the driver, typical dude haha, finished the sentence by saying (quote) " Ah well i got mi big bowl of weed to go home to " thanks for taking government money that i could use living here at uni.......Anyway, moral of the story dont end up like them dudes haha.

One week till Cairns!

Last weekend was the raddest! Hung out with the family, got a solid 10 hours of skating in and saw some good old buddies in the lonely town of Bonny Hills. The new skatepark has made miracles for the youth of this area, a safe place where everyone could hangout. what more could anyone want. Unfortunately i didnt get any photo's but i thought this one would do. Tonight, off to skate the BOWL with the homies, hella yea, good times to be had!
